Booster Groove Technology

Located just behind the face on the sole, the Booster Groove enhances face flex and rebound at impact. This means more energy transfer and faster ball speeds, especially on strikes low on the face. It also helps reduce unwanted spin on mishits, so you lose less distance and keep more control—even on imperfect swings.

Forged DAT55G Semi-Cup Face

Baldo uses forged DAT55G, a premium Japanese material known for its hot rebound and crisp feel. The semi-cup face design is engineered with variable heat treatment zones to expand the sweet spot, allowing the face to flex more effectively and launch the ball faster off the tee or deck. Micro laser milling between the scorelines helps maintain consistent spin.

Pentagon Power Plate System

Two 5g Pentagon Power Plates are standard on the sole and rear of the clubhead, optimizing weight for a lower CG and powerful launch. Want to tweak your ball flight? Plates are available in 2g, 3g, 4g, 6g, 7g, and 8g, letting you fine-tune trajectory and feel to your liking.

8-Position Adjustable Sleeve (Type 1.2)

Fine-tune your setup with Baldo’s adjustable sleeve system. Choose from 8 different settings to adjust loft, lie, and face angle within a ±1.0° range—whether you want to flight it low and hot or launch it high with more carry.

Refined Impact Sound

Baldo paid special attention to sound and feel. The GT Proto produces a crisp, tight “crack” at impact that matches the powerful sensation of the strike—just the kind of feedback you want on a flushed fairway shot.
