Introducing Jigen eBishop Driver, a commitment from Jigen golf to crown design that increases ball speed
"Deflection back" structure that brings high initial velocity
The crown is designed from face to back, and the sole is designed to have a higher rigidity from back to face. As a result, the low-rigidity region of the crown "deflects" and the high-rigidity region "returns" at the time of impact, which instantly "deflects → returns" to improve the ball speed.
Crown: High rigidity area (0.8mm), Low rigidity area (0.6mm)
Sole: High rigidity area (1.23mm), Low rigidity area (0.7mm)
Operability
The weight on the heel side shortens the distance of the center of gravity, and the wall thickness of the sole becomes thicker toward the face side so that the depth of the center of gravity becomes shallower and the height of the center of gravity becomes lower, which improves operability. As a result, it enables an aggressive attack method according to the situation.
Material
"Ti-HEG" is used for the face material. "Ti-HEG" has a low Young's modulus and improves flight distance with high repulsion. Since it has lower specific gravity than general face materials, it leads to a reduction in face weight and enables the design to increase weight distribution to other parts. It is also characterized by its extremely high strength and elongation.
Hitting sound simulation analysis
Repeated frequency analysis and trial hitting test, pursuing hitting sound and hitting feeling. The ribs at the optimum center of gravity are placed to achieve a comfortable hitting sound and feel.
