The Yamaha Inpres Drivestar Type / S Iron is engineered for golfers who want distance without the ball veering too far left or right. With Yamaha’s 3Point Resonance Technology, this iron maximizes energy transfer, so you get more power with each swing. Traditional irons often struggle with aligning the optimal flex point on the face with the center of gravity and sweet spot, but Yamaha’s clever design brings these together, enhancing efficiency for better performance.
Crafted from the high-strength X37 material, the Type / S Iron features a thin, precisely engineered 1.1mm sole, giving it greater flexibility at the lower part of the face where most golfers make contact. This boosts ball speed and helps you launch higher, longer shots.
With a heavy tungsten weight positioned at the back of the sole, the iron’s deep and low center of gravity allows for towering, long-distance shots. Even though it's built for distance, the Type / S Iron offers controlled ball flight, so it won’t overcorrect your swing.
With the Type / D model, you're also getting access to matching wedges (42°, 48°, and 55°) that are perfectly designed to complement these irons, giving you a complete setup for superior performance.
